We have an exciting opportunity for you to work closely with our Director of Ecology to grow a new ecology and biodiversity team in our London (Liverpool Street) office. Ecology and biodiversity is a relatively new offering for Lanpro, complementing our strong planning and design capability. Job Purpose

As an Associate Director / Technical Director and London ecology team leader you will be responsible for all aspects of growing and managing a successful ecology business at a local (south east area) level. You will report to our Director of Ecology, Hannah Broughton, who is responsible for leading the ecology and biodiversity business across the UK. You will work closely alongside, and be supported by, our Associate Director of ecology in Cambridge, Rebecca Little, who will be your counterpart in the Cambridge area. We do not work in silos, you will contribute to the success of the ecology business across the UK.

  • Builds and leads a successful ecology and biodiversity team based in the London area.

Delivering our projects

  • Day to day line management of the London ecology and biodiversity team.
  • Performs a challenging range and variety of complex technical and professional activities in the pursuit of project excellence.
  • Ensures compliance and adherence to all applicable SHEQ procedures for self and others.
  • Takes a key role in projects within relevant specialist field.
  • Project Director / Project Manager / Discipline Lead for projects of all scales and complexities.
  • Maintains continuing professional development in accordance with the requirements of CIEEM.

 Qualifications & Experience

  • In excess of 10 years relevant experience.
  • MCIEEM / CEcol / CEnv preferred.
  • Leadership / management experience preferred.
